Installing Web Parts in Windows Sharepoint Services 3 with a Server Farm configuration

If you have a farm Sharepoint deployment (i.e. your db is on a seperate remote server) and you are trying to use stsadm.exe to install webpart packages (those bundled in a .cab file) then the following is very important:
