What is a toad in a hole?
A classic english dish that’s no where near as bad as it sounds.
The toad is a sausage (good ole jolly boy banger) and the hole is a large yorkshire pudding (kind of a baked batter thing). I have no idea how they came up with the name but the end result, served with thick onion gravy, is fantastic!
