I must be completely nuts…
Why?
Because, as of 14:00 on Saturday afternoon, I’m participating in a Blogathon.
The idea is that, around the world on that day for 24 hours, bloggers start to post, and post like they’ve never posted before. One post every 30 minutes is the absolute minimum.
Why would anyone want to do this you ask?
For charity (mate). Specifically the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust here in Jersey.
And how can you help?
Well, I’ll be doing the writing (and photographing and webcaming) so all you need to do is sponsor me… and it doesn’t have to be much. As little as $1 will allow you to spend the weekend with a warm glowing feeling knowing that you’ve done your bit to help one of the worlds most important centrers for Wildlife Conservation and research.
Sponsoring me is as easy as visiting the sign up page and then visiting the DWCT campaign page.
Even if you don’t want to sponsor me (but why wouldn’t you? I mean are you really going to miss a couple of $?) you can help me out by linking to this post, passing the URL onto others and generally help me raise awareness.
I’ll be posting more on the ‘thon and on my chosen Charity as this week goes by but please please hit the sponsorship link and give a little… I promise you won’t regret it!

So no UT on sunday eve then.
Well I don’t see why not … if you don’t mind me being a little tired and having the reflexes of a sloth
Oh and I notice that you’ve decided to be funny but not to sponsor me … come on … what’s £1 between friends?
Deal
good luck with that, mate. i did it myself a couple of years ago.
i was mad then
Thanks guys
Well, the webring is up (according to the id’s I was the 11th site to add the webring code!) and everything is good to go… now all I have to do is stay awake for 24 hours on Saturday
