(for those who haven’t read F451 and have amazingly managed to avoid this Meme this means which book would you like to see burn)

Easy ones first this time? Anything by Mills and Boon. I don’t care which one (ideally all of them in a special edition boxed set but that would weight about 900 tons and probably isn’t too practical). I’m all for erotic fiction but I have never in my life seen such a blatant example of quantity over quality. WAKE UP PEOPLE THEY SUCK ASS!!!

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?

Yup… if the book has a central female character who’s feminine and smart and described well then my imagination will normally take over and fill in the gaps to make her almost perfect. My last one would have been Antoinette Bax in Redemption Ark

The last book you bought is:

Century Rain - yes I know it’s by the same author but I happened to find out I’d missed two of his books (don’t ask how) and bought them both at the same time. This one was last on the till receipt

The last book you read:

A POS thriller called Aphrodite (no I’m not linking it … it’s bad for you) by Russell Andrews. Dad asked me what I thought of it when I was about a quarter of the way through and I told him it was crap. He then asked why I was reading it and I answered “To see if it gets any better” … it didn’t
