and it’s kind of sticky. I was given it by a man I met in town this morning. I had to pay nearly ?85 for the privilege but I got what I came for – green p. I’ve been waiting and working for more than a year to get this and now I’ve received it …

The drunken pish simulator – can you keep your shoes dry?
And this one is in very bad taste but is still kind of funny :
Clay Kitten Shooting … PULL!!!
Right, those should keep you busy for a few seconds whilst I work out what to talk about next.

For some reason, last night prompted me to read a book that has remained untouched on my shelve for a long while. Prior to this I had attended the inaugural meeting of the Jersey Petanque Association (JPA) on overly long winded affair with far too much bickering and settling of scores for my tastes but it does mean that we have a god chance of getting Petanque recognised in the Island Games (a mini Olympics played between various European island nations).
So having returned home after this tortuous occasion I removed the slim volume from my shelf and began to read, accompanied by a cup of tea and the soothing sound of a light gale whipping past my window.
The book is an interpretation of a late 15th century morality play called Everyman. It isn’t very long and is well worth a read.

Hi All,
Another weekend gone then. And what did I do this weekend? Well, aside from the usual mess of weekend activities, the sole highlight would have to be Sunday’s petanque match – we totally kicked ass!
There are a couple of bits I’ve foundrecently that I’d like to share. First off is this weird pipe surfing, lawnmowerman style thing
Second would have to be the means by which I found this. The Stumble Upon Toolbar is easily one of the most dangerous pieces of software I’ve ever installed. Go and check it out (if you have half a year to kill)
Erm what else? Well there is an open invite to all selected bloggers who want to join Munuvia
And that will have to do for now. I’ll be back in a bit though, fear not.

We just got the first real batch of XML data through the webservice that I probably haven’t told you about before and … guess what… they’d changed the XML schema and hadn’t bothered to tell us!
Now anybody who’s worked with XSLT will know that the one surefire way to bugger up the transform is to monkey about the the XML structure so for these guys to make changes and to not let me know is just short of bloody moronic.
In other news, I forgot to switch my music mix to random before I left this morning and so have got to sit through 2 albums of S-Club 7 before I get to anything good.

First off is this little gem from Markiss – why you really shouldn’t sing at work
And then a perfect example of a room with enough space for a cat to swing itself
What? They made me laugh!

Pastor dies at Passion screening
Now I haven’t been to see this film yet but surely, if you are a devout, elderly individual with a dickey heart, going to see the most graphic and violent depiction of the crucifixion of Christ ever filmed isn’t a good idea?
